- 1971: The Baptist Student Union hosts a Freshman Party at 7:30 p.m. in the "student center".
- 1979: Classes begin. The Central Dance and Concert Committee (CDCC) sponsors a Beer Bust at the Hanover House beginning at 4:30 p.m. - beer costs 25 cents. Drunken foodfight in Schilletter dining hall afterwards forces the Union to discontinue using the Hanover House location for beer fests. Campus slang of the era referred to the "Hangover House".
- 2003: Spittoono XXIII, Massively Redneck, music festival held at the National Guard Armory baseball field.
- 2006: Spittoono XXVI music festival scheduled for the National Guard Armory ballfield.
- 2007: Spittoono XXVII music festival held at the National Guard Armory ballfield.
