Bangkok Royal Thai Cuisine
From ClemsonWiki
Bangkok Royal Thai Cuisine is a beacon of light in a dark and stormy sea of Clemson-area restaurants. Opened in 2000 by Orawan and Gene Sears, it is located in the plaza next to Sole, across the street from the town Post Office. It is reasonably priced, tasty, and the service is good. Recommended especially is the Duck Curry and the Panang Curry. Extra steamed rice is free, and only $.75 a box when taking out. Their green tea is excellent as well. They also serve alcoholic drinks there. The crowd is eclectic, ranging from older Clemson residents to professors to the more adventurous students.
The Sears sold the restaurant in August, 2006, but continue to own the Bangkok Asian Foodland store next door.
