Shock the World Tour 2011 is a name given to the Clemson University Football Team's season in the fall of 2011. It was first publicly alluded to by quarterback Tajh Boyd in a post-game interview following Clemson's road win over the number nine-ranked (CNN Coaches poll) Virginia Tech Hokies in Lane Stadium, Blacksburg, Virginia, 23-3, on October 1, which denoted the Tigers' fifth straight win over division, conference and national championship teams. According to Boyd, this was coined by Head Coach Dabo Swinney.

"Coach Swinney calls it 'the shock the world tour,'" Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd said. "We really feel like we believe in what we can do. I don't think a lot of people have seen that yet."
