Thornhill Village
From ClemsonWiki
Orginally a family housing community, Thornhill Village is now open to upperclassmen and graduate students. Until recently, Thornhill was strictly graduate student housing. There are two units to a building, each with a kitchen, living room, two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a storage closet. Heat pump is independent of campus steam. Computer lab is in the commons building, with a very large laundry room next door. Parking is on the street.
Of course, the caveat to all this freedom (compared to dormitories) is the actions of inconsiderate neighbours. Cars with obnoxiously-loud stereos will drive by and park outside your apartment. Parties will spread noise throughout the entire neighbourhood. It's referred to as the Thornhood for good reason.
However, if you have a good roommate and nice people on your street, you'll be OK in Thornhill.
