Robert Geist is a professor of Computer Science at Clemson. He is known widely for the research he conducts in computer graphics and systems modeling.

Dr. Geist received his undergraduate degree in Mathematics (1970) and Master's degree in Computer Science (1980) from Duke University in Durham, NC, Master's (1973) and Doctoral degrees (1974) in Mathematics from the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, IN. He was on the faculty of Duke University, University of North Carolina at Pembroke, NC before coming to Clemson in 1987.
