Womp's was a short-lived experiment in tavern-keeping in Clemson, opening in the space directly above the Sloan Street Tap-Room in the 1980s. Operated by a retired Clemson University Canteen manager, the business would not last. The sign for this defunct business is on the wall in the rear of Jimmy Howard's place.
