  • W Clemson 35, FSU 14 - Clemson becomes bowl eligible.

Saturday, November 19, 2005 - Clemson at South Carolina

  • Kickoff at 7 p.m., televised on ESPN GamePlan subscription service, except in South Carolina where ESPN carries game statewide after protest by legislators. Rivalry receives coverage in both the USA Today and the New York Times.

Tuesday, December 27, 2005 - Clemson versus Colorado, Champs Sports Bowl at Orlando, Florida

  • Kick-off at 5 p.m., televised on ESPN. As of December 23, Clemson is favored by 9 1/2 points. This is Clemson's chance to even the score. The only time the Tigers have faced the Buffaloes was in the 1957 Orange Bowl, and the Tigers went down, 27-21. It was also the first time that a Clemson game was televised.

Clemson is ranked twenty-first in both the Associated Press and USA Today/Coaches final polls for the season.
