- 1967: Dance held at the Y Barn with the Saffrons, from Clemson, providing the music. (The Tiger, "New Social Activities To Welcome Freshmen", 7 August 1967, Volume LXI, Number 1, page 1.)
- 1971: The Baptist Student Union hosts a Freshman Party at 7:30 p.m. in the "student center".
- 1979: Classes begin. The Central Dance and Concert Committee (CDCC) sponsors a Beer Bust at the Hanover House beginning at 4:30 p.m. - beer costs 25 cents. Drunken foodfight in Schilletter dining hall afterwards forces the Union to discontinue using the Hanover House location for beer fests. Campus slang of the era referred to the "Hangover House".
- 2003: Spittoono XXIII, Massively Redneck, music festival held at the National Guard Armory baseball field.
- 2006: Spittoono XXVI music festival scheduled for the National Guard Armory ballfield. August 21-August 25 - The United States Army Corps of Engineers conduct a site inspection of the former Lake Issaqueena Bombing Range to discern the presence or absence of World War II munitions or munitions components.
- 2007: Spittoono XXVII music festival held at the National Guard Armory ballfield.
