Bangkok Royal Thai Restaurant is a beacon of light in a dark and stormy sea of Clemson-area restaurants. It is located in the plaza next to Sole, across the street from the town Post Office. It is reasonably priced, tasty, and the service is good. Recommended especially is the Duck Curry and the Panang Curry. Extra steamed rice is free, and only $.75 a box when taking out. Their green tea is excellent as well. They serve alcoholic drinks there as well. The crowd is eclectic, ranging from older Clemson residents to professors to the more adventurous students.
