Dr. Margit Sinka is the head of the German section of the Languages department. She teaches both intermediate and advanced German classes in both literature and grammar. Frau Sinka is affectionately known as a stickler for grammar and for having very high standards for language proficieny. Be prepared to work in her classes. If you don't study, you will fail.
Dr. Sinka is also an excellent resource for internships and study abroad programs. She is extremely devoted to her students, and to German language instruction in the upstate.
