Firehouse Subs

Firehouse is one of many sub places in Clemson (Subway, and to some extent the Pot Belly Deli are two of the others). The subs there are made with steamed meat, melted cheese and other hot items (like mushrooms and onions). Subs at Firehouse are 12" long, and usually cost about $7. Downsides to Firehouse include the expense (a full combo can cost almost $10), and the time it takes to make the subs. On a busy day, it may take a full 15 minutes to get the sub you ordered. Despite the price and wait, Firehouse remains extremely popular. It opened in 2004.
For dine-in customers, Firehouse also provides a variety of hot sauces. One feature, very difficult to find sauce is called Scorned Woman. Do not, under any circumstances, put more than a drop of this sauce on your sub. The gastrointestinal effects of this brand of hot sauce are so severe that the sauce has been used extensively in our fight against terrorism.
