Frank Stieglitz was a student media photographer during a period of Clemson history when the campus was changing and the university's sports teams were in an ascending state.

At Clemson

Student 1974 to 1979. BS EE 1979.

Lived in Johnstone Hall, C-section, B-section, D-section, A-section, then off campus at the Lemans Apartments with Tiger Editor Steve Matthews.

Frank and Steve met again in 2013 November 19 in Chicago after 33 years, and talked about good times and good friends.


Heavily involved in Student Media during each of those years.

Just Found

On the sunny weekend of April 6, 2008, Frank finally opened up an old trunk of photos from his days at Clemson. Also found were a few roles of undeveloped film from 1979. I wonder what's on those?

Daniel Engineering in Greenville, SC 1979. Daniel turned into Fluor Daniel Corporation. Frank was in their Greenville, SC office 1979 to 1987, and their Chicago office from 1987 to 1998, and as a full time telecommuter from 1998 to 2003; Department Manager for Electrical and Control Systems, and Knowledge Manager for Engineering.

Engineering consulting 2004-2006. Several projects, including developing engineering standards for an oil pipeline company in Russia.

Bentley Systems, Inc., 2007 to present. Project Manager / Knowledge Manager for Professional Services.
