Leadership Clemson is local leadership program that is sponsored by a partnership of the City of Clemson and the Clemson Area Chamber of Commerce. It encourages individual involvement in leadership roles within the community. The mission statement : "Good leaders develop through a never-ending process of self-study, education, training, and experience."

From the brochure: "Whether you are an existing leader, an emerging leader, or even a newcomer to the city, this program will provide you with a bird's eye view of what our community is facing. You will also better understand how our community works, be provided with the tools necessary to continue to find ways to enhance our community, and build your leadership skills. If you want Clemson to be more than a place you work or sleep, Leadership Clemson is for you.

"The day long sessions will be held on the 2nd Thursday of every month beginning in October and continuing through May. Graduation ceremonies for the program will take place in June. All sessions will be held in the Clemson area. If you need special accommodation in order to participate, due to a disability, or have any questions, please contact Arlene Young at 653-2072 or [email protected]."

Leadership Clemson class size is limited to thirty persons. The tuition for Leadership Clemson is $250. Tuition includes costs for all meals, transportation, and session materials.
