- 1963: Country star Patsy Cline is killed in the crash of a Piper Comanche private single-engine aircraft, N7000P, c/n 24-2144, in bad weather when the plane comes down in a forest near Camden, Tennessee at 6:20 p.m. All four on board die. She was 30.
