Peppermint Records

Peppermint Records was a name-change on the music vendor at 103 College Avenue that had been The Record Hole in the 1970s and early 1980s. Very little is known at this writing about Peppermint, but it is notable that the business kept the same phone number as The Record Hole. The business appears in a two-line listing in the Tapes--Sound--Dealers section of the yellow pages in the October 1987 edition of the Southern Bell phone directory (page 159). It had disappeared from the phone book by March 1990.

As of 2009, this retail space has been assimilated by TD's as the Back Bar.
