[edit] Clemson QuickRides

As of December 2007, Clemson QuickRides is an infant operation, which, according their website, www.clemsonquickrides.com, is hiring drivers and, as yet, has no contact phone number, as of December 2, 2007.

The following is the Clemson QuickRides self-description, posted by representatives of the firm on November 30, 2007:

"Clemson QuickRides operates within a 10-mile radius of downtown, encompassing every apartment complex and fraternity house. We will pick you up and drop you off anywhere within this area.

"QuickRides charges only a $5 flat rate, with discounted rates for groups . Would you rather pay $5 for a safe ride home or thousands of dollars for a D.U.I?? You're not only saving thousands of dollars, you could be saving a life as well."

The only contact address appears to be [email protected], which opens an Outlook message page. The website lists the following for prospective drivers: "QuickRides is currently hiring drivers who have a good driving record and are willing to work late hours. We offer some of the most competitive rates in the business. We strive to make QuickRides a fun and friendly working environment and are always looking for a new addition to the QuickRide team!!! Please feel to contact us about employment at: and then they list no address...

This project was apparently stillborne and its website was long gone by 2010.

This is the Clemson Wiki project's 1,106th article.
