Rainbow Graphics

Rainbow Graphics was a screen-printing company that operated in two College Avenue locations in the 1970s and 1980s. Founded in 1971 by Sonny Franks, a Graphic Arts major and Norman "Hambone" Hamilton, they soon added talented designer Steve Ellison, an Architecture student, and became for a number of years the only local provider of specialty tee-shirt designs including First Friday Parade, Bengal Ball and Homecoming. They also specialized in hand-painted signs and graphics, transforming many buildings in Clemson and the upstate area.
