Rainbow Records
Rainbow Records is a long-time music purveyer in Anderson, South Carolina. Opened originally in 1981 by Anderson County native Mark Hembree, it is currently located in the Brookland Place Shopping Center on North Main Street, and both buys and sells vinyl, compact discs, and DVDs.

History
A love for, and a large collection of, music led Belton-native Mark Hembree to open Rainbow Records, with a soft opening in November 1981, with the official opening on December 1, 1981. It was located in the Lakeside Shopping Center in Anderson for the first 22 years of commerce.
A second store was in the Belvedere Plaza in Anderson in November 1993. This operated for three years, before moving to the Pruitt Street Center in January 1997. It would operate for about four years.
In September 2003, the two stores were combined and moved to the current 2705 N. Main Street location in the Brookland Place Shopping Center.
