Solid Green Day

Solid Green Day is a post-Homecoming weekend event first held on October 25, 2006. A play on words for the Solid Orange spirit campaign, Solid Green Day's mission is to gather the campus community into a clean-up, pick-up of the detritus of the previous football weekend. An advert in The Tiger's October 20 issue encouraged volunteers to go to Mell Hall between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. to fetch supplies. All participants receive a Solid Green Day tee-shirt.
