Thanks for clearing that up - Evilphoenix was puzzled as to what I was responding to...
I'm busy right now, airing Clemson's dirty laundry of 1912!
It is very good to see someone new adding material of their expertise! I have an editorial request. The original contributor of the site's root nursing material used a lot of acronyms/abbreviations in describing the various programs. The first rule of journalism that I learned was that the first time you use a name, you spell it out, then follow with the abbreviation.
I don't know enough about the nursing program to edit those abbreviations. If you could do this, it would be a great help. Thanx very much!
(Ooops! I wasn't logged on when I greeted you - my bad!)
Ah so, yes that is me on the Fred Shilstone commemoration page. A good friend of mine on Johnstone B-5 had Fred for English and wrote some outrageous papers for him...
The 1965 entry uses the ADN acronym in (I think) the first nursing entry we have. Can U decipher? Thanx!
Uhh - sorry - this was an old entry. I accidentally entered Fred above it in sequence...
Yes, as I recall, Chicago played in Harcombe Commons dining hall about 1971 or 1972. I remember seeing the pix in the old TAPS annuals in the yearbook office, but my collection only goes to 1974, and I didn't have time to read along very far in that year period when I was in the archives at the Strom Center last November... So I don't have an exact date right now.
I have a date - Jan 23, 1971 in Littlejohn. - fowlerj
