The Riveria was a family run Turkish eatery that opened for business in 1997. For delicious home cooked taste of Turkish food, this was a place you wanted to look at. On the weekends, this place was packed with Turkish students going to Clemson and the unmistakable sound of Burak’s guitar.
The Riviera was a buffet-style restaurant that featured American, European, Italian, Middle Eastern and Turkish cuisine. The decor wasn't fancy but the prices were reasonable with average entrees running about $10.
Prior to becoming The Riviera, this space was occupied by the Fast Break pool hall.
