Clemson Kabab was an alternative to the usual pizza and sandwich shops on College Avenue that operated for about a year in 2009 and 2010. Opened by Jordanian native Sam Enani in the former location of Tasty Cluck'in Chicken, it served authentic Mediterranean cuisine as well as more usual fare like hamburgers and fries.

Its hours of operation were: Monday-Wednesday 11 a.m.-10 p.m., Thursday-Friday 11 a.m.-2 a.m.; Saturday Noon-Midnight; Sunday Noon-8 p.m. They accepted Visa, Mastercard and Discover. They offered a Buy 6 Sandwiches - Get 1 Free card, which they punched with each purchase.

Unfortunately, despite the admirable addition to the varied menu choices that Clemson Kabab offered downtown, the business closed in late-summer 2010. It has been replaced by Jugheads Famous Clemson Dogs, as of the last week of August 2010.
