A Prairie Home Companion

A Prairie Home Companion is a live music and entertainment radio program, founded by Garrison Keillor, and first broadcast on Saturday evenings on National Public Radio on July 6, 1974. It is carried in the South Carolina Upstate on WEPR 90.1 FM.

Robin and Linda Williams first appeared on the show in 1976. They played a three night stand at The Gutter, the Union coffeehouse under the Y, on September 8-September 10, 1977. The folk/gospel couple continue to appear regularly on Prairie Home Companion.
