Jim Navratil
James Dale Navratil is an Adjunct Professor of Environmental Engineering and Science. He earned his BA in 1970, his MS in 1972, and received his PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Colorado-Boulder in 1975. Dr. Navratil joined Clemson's faculty in 2000. In March of 2006, Dr. Navratil was part of a research team that received a Nobel Peace Prize for research for the International Atomic Energy Agency, working towards finding peaceful uses for nuclear technology. Dr. Navratil's research and teaching focuses on environmental actinide and radiochemistry.
